Description
The vaccine contains inactivated Avibacterium paragallinarum bacteria, serotypes A (W,221), C-Modesto strains. Initial vaccination is recommended when chickens are over 8 weeks of age followed by a second vaccination 3-4 weeks before point of lay. In molted flocks, chickens should be re-vaccinated at the end of the first laying season and before the start of the second laying season..
Indications
The vaccine is indicated for use against infectious Coryza in chickens.
Dosage and Administration
Allow to reach room temperature before use. Shake the vaccine well before and during use. The vaccine is to be applied only by subcutaneous injection (0.5ml per bird) on the back between the wings, lateral to the spine.
Precautions
Only healthy birds should be vaccinated. Injection equipment should be clean and sterilized.
Avoid vaccine exposure to bright light or high temperatures.
Do not inject the vaccine intramuscularly and not in the head, leg or neck regions.
Do not vaccinate during laying or 21 days or less prior to slaughter. A local reaction may occur at the site of injection. It will disappear after a period of time.
Avoid self-injection with the vaccine. Consult a surgeon immediately in case of self-injection with the vaccine occurs.
Storage
Store under refrigeration (2°-8°C).
